FORD FAIRFAX, age 91 of, Manassas, Virginia died Friday, January 31, 2003 at Blue Ridge Christian Home, Bealeton. Mr. Fairfax was a lifelong member of Buckhall United Methodist Church. He worked at Fort Belvoir for 29 years, retiring in 1969. Mr. Fairfax was preceded in death in July 1994 by his wife of 50 years, Eleanor V. Fairfax. Survivors include his children Joyce Hoffman and her husband Carl, of Manassas, Gerald Fairfax and his wife Elaine of Manassas, Ford Gene Fairfax and his wife Linda of Stafford, one sister Eilene Snellings of Fredericksburg, two brothers, Josh Fairfax of Lorton, and Allen Fairfax of Manassas. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
