Tom was born in May’s Lick on January 26, 1939 son of the late Granville & Della Mae Hamilton Purcell.
Survivors include his wife Linda Hesler Purcell. Three children also survive, Allen (Tammy) Purcell; Kimberly (Tom) Purcell; and Sue (Dwayne) Moran all of Maysville; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
