Floyd Edward Price was born on September 5, 1943, to Mitchell and Pearlie Price in Parkdale, Arkansas. He died peacefully at home surrounded by a loving family on February 12, 2017. He was 73 years of age.
Floyd worked as a farmer for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lloyd and Robert Price; four sisters, Ellen Avery, Joyce Wilson, Betty Price and Mattie Rose; mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and J.N. Avery; sister-in-law, Patty Mathis; two brothers-in-law, Jesse and Roy Linn Avery.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Glenda Sue Price; his sons, Greg Price (Katy and Kylie) of Hamburg, Arkansas and Bryan Price (Leslie) of Heber Springs; four granddaughters, Cierra and Mesa Price of Hamburg, Arkansas and Paige and Hope Price of Heber Springs, Arkansas; four grandsons, Blane Price (Jessica) and Cody Price of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Gunner and Gage Price of Hamburg, Arkansas; one great granddaughter, Brooklynn (baby girl) Price; sister, Mary Langley (Buddy) of Russellville, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Mary Cranford (Don), Ozeal Cruz and Shawn Price; brother-in-law , Everette Mathis; special friend, Gerald Green a host of nieces and nephews.
