Floyd H. Breidinger, age 83, of Madison, Mississippi, formerly of Wahpeton, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at his home in Madison, Mississippi. He was born on September 15, 1925, in Everly, Iowa, to Harry and Annabelle Vanderhoff Breidinger.
Floyd was baptized and confirmed in the First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. He was active in LLL, a trustee and ushered for many years. Floyd graduated from spencer High School in 1943. He was also on the Spencer Elevator Board for six years.
Floyd enjoyed spending his spare time bowling and golfing.When he was eighteen, he joined the Merchant Marine. He served there, until he joined the Army in January of 1945, and was discharged November 28, 1946. During that time, he served in the Philippines.
