Florence (Lunsford) Reed, 78, Milford, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at the St. Francis Heart Center in Indianapolis.
Born December 29, 1936, in Manchester, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Thomas and Myrtle (Rice) Lunsford. She married Rev. Leroy Reed on April 25, 1958, and he survives. Together Leroy and Florence founded the Freewill Baptist Church in Milford, Indiana.
She had also worked for over 30 years at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg and for 10 years at the Columbus Health Center. She is also survived by three sons, Tommy Lee (Julie) Reed, Flat Rock, Hughie Edwin (Melissa) Reed, Milford, David Dwight (Theresa) Reed, Milford; one brother, Don Lunsford, Manchester, Kentucky; one son-in-law, Jack McCorkhill, Milford; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Fannie Marie McCorkhill; one son, Plez Reed; four brothers, Virgil, James, Bill, and Arnold Lunsford; one sister, Ollie Mae Jackson.
