Florence M. (Ducharme) Petit 78 of Leominster died Friday July 3, 2009 in UMass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester. She was born on June 30, 1931, was the daughter of Horace and Eva (Lozeau) Ducharme. She was a graduate of St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School Class of 1949. She was in the Marine’s Reserve Unit in Worcester, MA. Florence worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the G.E. Union office in Fitchburg. She was a member of St. Cecilia Parish in Leominster. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Edward G. Petit of Leominster, her children Mark Petit and his wife Cheryl of Athol, Sandra Petit of Lancaster, Robert Petit and his wife Maureen of Grafton, Gary Petit and his wife Bonnie of Westminster, her grandchildren Jason Petit, Benjamin Petit, Alex Petit, Jillian Petit, Jenna Craven, Katie Petit, Addison Craven, and Jenny Petit, two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Norman Ducharme of Fitchburg, and Robert Ducharme Brother of the Sacred Heart Order.
