Florence Laskarzewski, 88, of Southington died on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Laskarzewski. Born in New Britain, daughter of the late Joseph and Pelagia (Stach) Wozniak, she was a lifelong city resident. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and worked at CCSU for over 15 years. Florence is survived by her children: Michael Lakarzewski of New Britain, Susan McCall of Ashland, MA, Margie Davis and her husband, Gary of New Britain, Patricia Tormay and her husband, Jay of Plantsville; two brothers: Albin and Henry Wozniak and her sister, Elizabeth Buslewicz; seven loving grandchildren: Robert McCall, James Davis and his wife, Emily, Kevin Tormay and his wife, Maria, Beth Henke and her husband Steven, Joseph Tormay, Andrew Davis and his wife, Amber, and Bonnie Tormay, her very special great-granddaughters: Madison, Vivian and Eleanor; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Andrew Laskarzewski and grandson, Kyle McCall. Florence’s family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers who extended their care and compassion.
