Florence L. Rickett At the age of 91 Florence passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Welcome Home Assisted Living. Florence was born November 8, 1926 in Detroit. She is the daughter of George and Mildred (Barrett) Kallos. Florence married Don Junior Rickett in June of 1948. Through their years of marriage together they shared a love for antiquing and their dogs. They also had two children together, Don and Kandy. Florence retired from Owosso Public Schools. Throughout her life she was part of the quilting, doll, and Red Hat club. She is survived by children Don (Sharon) Rickett and Kandy (Greg) Rickett-Krcmarik; grandchildren Adam (Jennifer) Rickett, Amy (Samuel) Leydig, Trisha Rickett, Jeff (Julie) Hauk, Brian (Tina) Hauk, Beth (Bryan) Morton, Michael Krcmarik, Dr. Kelly Krcmarik (Dr. Michael Johnson), Kristen Krcmarik, and Courtney Krcmarik. She also is survived by twenty-one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Florence was predeceased by her husband Don Rickett, her grandmother Florence Miller, and her brothers George Kallos, Paul Marble, John Brantigan and Marty Brantigan. There will be no service at this time. Later this spring at memorial at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan there will be a combined service with her husband Don Rickett.
