Florence Eleanor Long, age 90, of Milford, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2007, in Milford Hospital. She was born on September 7, 1916, in Stoneham, MA to the late Eugene and Eva Brousseau Theroux. Before retiring, she was employed by Effective Security as a receptionist. Mrs. Long is survived by her loving husband, of 62 years, Richard W. Long, devoted children Robert Long of Westport, John Long of New York City, Eleanor Iannotte of Florida, Barbara Novak of Broadbrook, Lorraine Long of Meriden and Jacqueline Long of Englewood, CO, sister Violet Shubert of Terryville, CT and 8 grandsons.
