She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Minnie (Grote) Illingworth; husband, Kermit in 1992; her son, Randy Joe, at birth; 2 brothers, Dale and Bennie; and 3 sisters, Elsie, Ella, and Frances.
Florence was a graduate of Newton High School in 1944. She was a homemaker and also had worked at Dunlap Manufacturing in Newton.
