Florence B. (Owens) Easterday, 89, of Whitehall Township, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014 in Fellowship Manor. She was the wife of Kenneth P. Easterday, Sr., with whom she shared 70 years of marriage. Born in Walnutport, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Eva (Best) Owens. Florence was a graduate of Slatington High School. Florence enjoyed collecting bells and was a member of the American Bell Association. Survivors: her loving husband, Kenneth; sons, Kenneth P. Easterday, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Exton, Terry L. Easterday and his wife Linda of Denver, PA and Brian Easterday and his wife Gwen of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Lorraine Wotring of Allentown; brother, Wilbur “Lindy” Owens of Fullerton; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by a son, Glenn Easterday in 1966, a grandson, Jeffrey Easterday in 1973, brothers, James, Richard, Owen, Thomas and Paul Owens and a sister Ruth Betz.
