Filomena Santoro of West Haven passed away October 20, 2011 at Connecticut Hospice. She was born July 11, 1920 in Derby, Connecticut, daughter of the late Angelo and Angelina Coppola Cusano and was raised in Italy, returning to Connecticut in 1953. She was the wife of the late Paul Santoro. Sister of Domenico (Alessandra) Cusano, Carolina (Franco) Marino and the late Rosa (Arturo) Cusano, Marfizia (Domenico) Mazzucco, Giuseppa (Pasquale) Villano and Antonio (Filomena) Cusano. Mother of Angela (Mario) Friello and Carmelina (Victor) Liuzzo. Also survived by her grandchildren Vittoria (Patrick) Fielosh, Salvatore (Nicole) Friello, Mario Friello, Matthew Liuzzo, her great grandchildren Carsten & Adrian and many loving nieces and nephews. She was a sewing machine operator at the former Henry Richards Company in Hamden.
