Mr. Filo Pinkney Robinson, 89, of Mooresville, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.
He was born in Lincoln County on January 15, 1922 to the late Ethel and Callie Drum Robinson and, before his retirement, was a fixer with Burlington Mills.
He is survived by his wife, Hallie Johnson Robinson, of the home; a daughter, Judy R. Sipes (Jim) of Mooresville; a sister, Bernice R. Caldwell of Conover; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Robinson, Banner Robinson, and Verella R. Caldwell; and four brothers, Dennis, Otis, Marvin and Bartley Robinson.
