Alice M. Fields, 72, of Breese, Ill., died Saturday, September 3, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. She was born on May 5, 1933 in Breese daughter of Henry and Catherine (Ratermann) Kues. She married Robert “Benny” Fields on January 30, 1954 at St. Dominic church in Breese and he survives.
She is also survived by her children, Monica Venhaus and husband Phil of Breese, Matthew Fields and wife Chris of Breese, Michael Fields and wife Marlene of Germantown, Luke Fields and wife Deb of Breese and Pete Fields and wife Angie of Highland; 19 grandchildren, Aaron Fields, Adam Fields, Alicia Hustedde, Andrew Hustedde, Andrea Hustedde, Addison Hustedde, Chad Venhaus, Ryan Venhaus, Allison Venhaus, Josh Fields, Beth Fields, Katie Fields, Austin Fields, Maggie Fields, Myranda Fields, Caleb Fields, Brooke Robert, Carli Fields & Jordyn Fields; brothers and sisters, Henrietta Isaak and husband Al of Chesterfield, MO, Rose Isaak of Beckemeyer, Orville Kues and wife Esther of Florissant, MO, and Florence Duncan and husband John of Highland; daughter-in-law Jan Hustedde and husband Tom of Breese; brother-in-law, Robert Burhorn of Florissant, MO; and cousin, Marguerite Dauphin and husband Ken of Belleville, IL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Fields on June 9, 1983; a brother Raymond Kues and his wife Mary; a sister Ann Burhorn; and a brother-in-law,Clem Isaak. Mrs. Fields was a teller at the State Bank of Aviston in St. Rose and retired in 1998. She was a member of St. Dominic Parish.
