Fidalma DiTanna Sellecchia, 85, of Phila. PA, formerly of Edgewater Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 18th, surrounded by her loved ones. Fidalma was born in Capracotta, Italy on July 13, 1927 and immigrated to the United States in August of 1962. She was the proud owner of Fidalma’s Deli in Edgewater Park for 15 years. She treated her customers like family and they all loved and respected her.
Fidalma loved throwing picnics, playing bocce, gardening, crocheting and attending church and church events. She also enjoyed taking dance lessons and went on to become an accomplished ballroom dancer. Fidalma is survived by her husband, Enrico Sellecchia, her stepson Mario Sellecchia, her son Vince DiTanna, her daughters Antonietta DiTanna Marcantonio and Anna Maria DiTanna Paglione with their respective families with 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
