Fernando Yanez, Sr.
December 27, 1955 – August 23, 2022
Fernando Yanez Sr., age 66, went home peacefully to be with the Lord at his residence Tuesday August 23, 2022. He was a lifetime resident of Harlingen born in California to Jose Yanez and Dolores Yanez.
Fernando worked at Valley Baptist Medical Center for 25 years as a surgical tech until he retired. He loved having a good time with his buddies while listening to classic rock. His favorite were the Beatles and the Eagles. He was an avid fan of the Rams NFL football team.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Benito Yanez.
He leaves to cherish his wonderful memory his son, Fernando Yanez and daughter in law, Tiffany, their children, Bryan Garza, Aria Yanez, Cadence Yanez and Mason Yanez; his daughter, Evangelina Yvette Yanez, his siblings, Angel Yanez, Oralia Yanez, Gloria Casiano, Reynaldo Yanez and Noe Yanez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
