Fernando L. “Negro” Palmer-Martinez, 87, died on August 6, 2021 at Estelle’s house in Ocala. He was born into this life on April 26, 1934 in Salinas, Puerto Rico and was the son to the late Juan Rafael and Matilde (Martinez) Palmer. Fernando was one of eleven half brothers and sisters from both stepfather and stepmother’s side. Fernando retired with the government of Puerto Rico as a Civil Engineer. He moved to Dunnellon two years ago from Carolina, Puerto Rico.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rafaela Camacho-Palmer.
He is survived by his daughters, Odalys I. Palmer, Amarilis Lloyd (Ron) and Hedda Palmer (Nelson) all of Dunnellon; his grandchildren, Nicole, Christian, Michael, Giovanni and great granddaughter, Leahni.
