Fern Mary (Lindenmuth) Stuber, 95, of Oxford, passed away at Ware Presbyterian Village Care Center on Monday, December 14,2020. Born in Lebanon, Pa she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Bowmaster) Lindenmuth. Fern was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Stuber, Sr. with whom she shared 32 years of marriage. Fern and her family moved from Lebanon to Bethlehem, Pa in her senior year of high school and graduated from Liberty High. While completing her senior year in high school she started working at West Side Moravian Church where she was a secretary, Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. Fern was the youngest member of the Board of Elders at West Side Moravian. She worked for the Lehigh Valley Wholesale Grocery Company and later became the assistant office supervisor at Prudential Life Insurance Company. Fern was an active member at West Side Moravian Church of Bethlehem where she and her husband Bob were sacristans and served at candlelight services and lovefeast. Fern served as the congregation treasurer for 20 years. She was a member of the Women’s Fellowship, the Board of the Kings Daughters, Hi Neighbors, and Carol Club. She volunteered at the Moravian Hall Square Gift Shop as well as the American Cancer Society. Fern loved to sew, knit, square dance, play pinochle. She enjoyed going on bus trips, 1 time to Branson, Missouri, a cruise, and flew to California. She was also a counselor at Camp Hope in her younger days. Above all she was a devoted homemaker and loving Wife and Mother.  

Survivors: Fern will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Eileen Ann Michaud and husband Greg of Swannanoa, NC and Laurie Jean Olseski and husband Tony of Coatesville, Pa, grandchildren, Bryan Michaud and wife Dana, Jeremy Michaud and wife Jessica, Erin Shick and husband Curt, Anthony Olseski and wife Mindy;  great grandchildren, Brandon, Becky, Mia, Meredith, Lydia, Luke, Anna, Maddox, and Sullivan. Fern is preceded in death by her son Robert W. Stuber Jr, brother Rev Larry Lindenmuth, and sister Ruth Ellen Wile.
