Fern E. LeVan, 89, of Allentown, died Monday, September 8, 2008, at Manorcare, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Paul E. LeVan who died in 1992. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (Gerber) Heckler. Fern was a homemaker, a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Bethlehem and also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors: son Robert P. LeVan of Allentown; grandson Robert W. LeVan and his wife Jamie of Fountain Hill; granddaughter Jennifer L. LeVan of Bethlehem.
