Faye Jeffries Shields, 75, of 1111 Main Street, Stratford House, Danville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday December 24, 2009. Born January 8, 1934 in Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Hester and Aurelia Blankenship Jeffries. She was married to Ray E. Shields and later to Curtis Shields both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Wanda S. Edwards of Danville, three sons, Ronald Shields and wife, Kim of Dry Fork, Donald Shields and wife, Pam of Wilmington, NC and John Shields and wife, Kit of Burlington; a brother, Hester Jeffries, Jr. three sisters, Barbara Bouldin, Betty Fuller and Alice Sales, grandchildren, Andrew and Blake Edwards, Jessica Brown, Miles Shields, Lindsay Shields, Maggie Shields, Olivia and Haverly Shields and Morgan and Megan McHone, and great-grandchildren, Allye Brown and Gavin Shields.
