Faye Ann Akers, 79, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 in Osborne, Kansas, after a short illness. She was born in Oberlin, Kansas, and was a resident of Denver, Colorado most of her life. Faye Ann was a retired nurse from Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver, CO. She enjoyed line-dancing, and after her retirement she volunteered at the hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmet J. St. Clair, Oberlin, Kansas and Dorothy St. Clair (Wiley), Canon City, CO; brothers, Francis St. Clair, Oberlin, KS, Lester St. Clair, Canon City, CO, Larry Droppleman, Downs, KS, and Jerry Droppleman, Denver, CO; sisters, Ethel Janousek, Penrose, CO and Violet Brents, Colorado Springs, CO. Faye Ann is survived by her brother, Donald St. Clair of Pueblo, CO; sister, Deloris Kleist of Colorado Springs, CO; and sisters-in-law, Judy Droppleman of Osborne, KS, Ryoko Droppleman of Denver, CO, and Doris St. Clair of Pueblo, CO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. She will be sadly missed by her family.
