EVONNE GRIFFIN was born on January 6, 1959, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to John Fox and Josephine Fox-Trice.
Evonne was beloved by her community and her country. Evonne was the third oldest of 11 children. She attended Hopkinsville High School shortly after sophomore year, she left Kentucky to join the US Army in New Jersey for basic training, on January 1983.
After a couple years in the armed forces, Evonne found out she was pregnant with her first child and moved to Indiana in 1986. Evonne was a stay-at-home but that did not stop her from being apart of her community.
Evonne leaves to cherish her memories; Sisters: Brenda White (Paul), Carol Fox, Linda Fox, Teresa Fox; Brothers: Robert Campbell (Earnestine), John Fox (Liz), Herbert Fox, Anthony Fox (Tyra), Eufqula Fox (Brenda); 3 daughters; 1 son; 5 grandkids; 1 great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
