Evelyn E. Wahlers, age 70, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at the Hunterdon Medical Center. She was born on December 9, 1935, in Rhinebeck, NY the daughter of the late Winfield and Viola Girling and lived in Toms River, NJ for many years before moving to Raritan Township in 1983. Until her retirement she was employed by Stop and Shop Supermarket in Flemington as a Cashier. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Richard Wahlers; five daughters, Mary Riley of Dillsburg, PA, Linda Wahlers of Alexandria, VA, Lisa Salesi of Toms River, NJ, Lori Martone of Punta Gorda, FL and Nancy Cotte of Zephyr Hills, FL; two sons, David Wahlers of Deland, FL and William Wahlers of Fort Myers, FL; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her son Arthur pre-deceased her in 1974.
