Evelyn M. (Snopik) Wagner, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday April 25, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of Country Meadows, Bethlehem. She was the devoted wife of the late Deacon William J. Wagner, with whom she shared over 61 years of loving marriage until his passing in 2016. Born in Nemacolin, PA she was the beloved daughter of Paul and Mary (Henry) Snopik. Evelyn was a graduate of Nemacolin High School. She was a Secretary for the United States Government before becoming a devoted stay at home mother to her six children. Evelyn was a former member of Ss. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Lehighton and a current member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking and spending time with her loving family.

 

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Suzanne M. Skinner of Bethlehem, Patricia A., wife of Kenneth VanGorder of Kingsley; four sons, Matthew P. Wagner and his wife Mary of Millington, N.J, Stephen C. Wagner and his wife Charlotte of Palmerton, PA,  Joseph A. Wagner and his wife Cheryl of Deland, Florida, Michael J. Wagner and his wife Gloria of South Grafton, Mass.; siblings Norma Schifko of Bealeton, VA and Donald Snopik and his wife Nancy of Leesburg, FL: 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Virgina Andre and Robert Snopik.
