Evelyn Mary (Marin) Stross, 69, of Cromwell, passed peacefully into the care of Gods loving hands on Thursday, September 3rd with her daughters, Carol Ann and Catherine, by her side. She died of a broken heart after losing her beloved husband, Jerry A. Stross, Sr., last November. Born in Biddeford, Maine on August 19, 1940, she was the daughter of Philomene De Silva Laroche of Biddeford, ME and the late Theodore Laroche, Sr. In addition to her mother, Evelyn leaves behind her two brothers, Paul Laroche of Biddeford, ME and Theodore Laroche, Jr. and his wife, Marty of Frederica, DE; her two daughters, Carol Ann Tate and her husband, Jody of Portland and Catherine Cote and her husband, Steven of Farmington; her six grandchildren, Stephanie Roberts and her fiancee, Ian Dunbar of Newington, Chelsey Roberts Valeri and her husband, John of Wallingford, Hannah and Nicole Tate of Portland, Richard Berube and Dylan Cote, both of Farmington. Besides her husband and father, she was predeceased by her son, Richard J. Marin. Evelyn’s life was rich in good times with many dear friends and family.
