Evelyn Loretta Life, 86, of Jane Lew, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at United Hospital Center, following a brief illness. She was born March 24, 1924 in Rosemont the daughter of the late Clarence A. Snider and Mary Carter Snider. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Life was preceded in death by her husband Leslie O. Life of 60 years. She is survived by one daughter Sharon Elaine Welch and husband James of Good Hope and one son; Randall G. Life and wife Rosanna also of Good Hope; one grandson; Kristopher Barron; three great grandchildren; Hunter, Arianna, and Brianna; two sisters Mary Lou Dockery and Patricia Fortney; several nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by two sisters Ruhama Ward and Janice Sendling. Mrs. Life worked for 20 years at the Hazel Atlas Company as a packer and also at Watters Smith State Park for 10 years. Mrs. Life attended Harvest Evangelical Methodist Church in Good Hope.
