Evelyn I. Stratton, 91, of Ft. Lupton, passed away on April 4, 2012 at her home. She was born February 10, 1921 in Copan, OK to Wesley J. McClure and Jennie A. Bandy. She grew up in Dewey, OK and also lived in Pueblo, Denver and Brighton for a short time; however, she lived the last 10 years in Ft. Lupton.
Evelyn had worked for The Slide Printer in Denver for many years. She loved crafting, sewing and was a gifted seamstress. She was able to travel all over the United States. She was a smiley, joyous, a laughing mother and grandmother and never forgot a birthday. She was also delightfully stubborn.
She is survived by her children, Sharon K. Brooke of Northglenn and Tom (Marjorie) Derozier of Ft. Lupton; sister, Melba McClure of Pueblo; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
