Evelyn Elizabeth (Hotchkiss) Jacobs, 84, of Middletown, wife of the late R. Berkeley Jacobs, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Monday, June 20, 2016. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late William and Marguerite (Molloy) Hotchkiss. Evelyn lived in Middletown all of her life and worked for Southern New England Telephone for twenty-eight years. Evelyn was a very sharp person who loved to be organized and have a system for everything she did. She had a true appreciation for nature and all wildlife.
