EVELYN REIGHTER
Evelyn (Hair) Reighter, 96, of Carlisle and formerly of Brandstville, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.
Born June 1, 1923 in Brandtsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Dutrey) Hair and the widow of John “Jack” Reighter, who died July 15, 1996.
Mrs. Reighter was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and attended First Church of God, Carlisle.
Surviving are three daughters: Delores A. Slear of Carlisle, Jackie M. Shover of Mechanicsburg and Sally I. Kilmore of Carlisle; a sister: Violet Ramp of Dillsburg and a brother: Robert Hair of Dillsburg; eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Clara Kimmel and Viola Kuhn and three brothers: David, Glenn and Harry Hair.
