Evelyn Bolbach, nee Mauser, 96, of O’Fallon, Illinois, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016, at her residence. Evelyn was born on April 6, 1920, in Belleville, IL. Before retiring, she worked as a physical therapist assistant providing care to residents in Castle Haven Nursing Home in Swansea, IL. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She also stayed active while bowling in a league with her friends until the age of 82 years old. She loved spending time with her family, which included having her entire family at her home for each and every holiday, regardless of what holiday it may be.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Annie Mauser (nee Holman); her husband, Frank Everett Bolbach, Jr.; and her brother, Kenneth Mauser. Evelyn is survived by her four children, Betty Schnack of TX, Jim (Cherie) Bolbach of Fairview Heights, IL, Tom Bolbach of Belleville, IL and Diane Bolbach of O’Fallon, IL, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
