Waterbury- Mrs. Evelyn A. Samson, a resident of the Village at East Farms, wife of the late Daniel P. Samson, M.D. died Monday, June 30, 2008.
Mrs. Samson was born in Acton, MA in 1917, a daughter of the late Swen and Linda (Johnson) Hagen.
She was proud of her family, their diversity in personality, their individual talents and the expression of them in their work or play. They were loving of their parents and each other. They learned to ski together and enjoyed both skiing and golfing. She was a lover of nature and a gardener and an advocate for education.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Linda A. Segalini and her husband Richard of Sunapee, NH and Ms Claudia H. Samson of NY, NY and one son, Daniel P. Samson, Jr of Spokane, WA; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a sister Avis Durham of Peabody, MA. She was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
