A native of Hobart, IN, he was a retired Instrument Technician for US Steel. Evan was a member of the Izaak Walton Conservation Club, and Ionia County Fishing and Hunting Club. He was a Beekeeper in Ionia and Montcalm Counties, and a member of the Michigan Beekeeper’s Association, for several years. Evan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Kisela and Beulah Bellinger Kisela; his sisters, Barbara Preston, Maxine Blanchard, and Linda Blankenship; and his brothers, Edward Kisela, Jr. and Charles to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon Lee Youngs Kisela; his sister, Donna Belt; his children, Russell (Ronni) Kisela, Jack (Dina) Kisela, Julianne (Alan) Chadsey, Susan Castro, Cynthia Stephens, Paul (Candice) Kisela, Elisabeth (Terry) Tarchala, and Alisa Straite; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and
