Eva Christene Hucklebridge, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Plano, TX.
Born on August 14, 1927 to Ivan Ezra Arledge and Emma Barr Arledge, Christene grew up in Mooringsport, LA. She married her high school sweetheart R. H. “Bob” Hucklebridge. Christene was a devoted mother to Robert and John Hucklebridge and mother-in-law to Tina and Veronica Hucklebridge.
Christene was a beloved “Nana” to her grandchildren, Christina Vitela, the late Josh Hucklebridge, Ava Christine and Hunter Rae Hucklebridge, and Frida and Danny Crespo.
Her favorite past times included cooking, sewing, crafting, and genealogy research. Christene was a devout Christian and remained stalwart in her faith throughout her life.
