Eva (Lambert) Gaudreau, 91, formerly of Newington, packed her shoes for the last time and took the red-eye home on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020. Born in Norte Dame de Bois, Quebec, Canada, she resided in Newington for 35 years.A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she leaves her son Robert Gaudreau and husband Howard Kaplowitz of Garrison NY, two grandchildren Brian Gaudreau and Tara Krapalis and husband Chris, and great grandchildren Casey and Taylor Krapalis. She was pre-deceased by her son Michael Gaudreau and his wife spoke truth when it wasn’t easy, smiled when it was hard, laughed when possible, and was always ready to get dressed up and celebrate anything in life. Her sincere and joyous smile was infectious. She will be truly missed by so many. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the many loving and caring staff members at McLean who provided such wonderful care to Eva over the past eight years, and especially to Terry Liepis, Tina Tulloc, and Holly Woodruff, and to Joanne Foss and Krista Eddy from Aging Care for their love and guidance.
