Eutimio Marines AKA “Snake” was called home on April 21, 2017. Snake was born on March 28, 1949 in Eagle Pass, TX, to Manuel and Luisa Marines. Snake was a man of exciting moments. He lived on the edge and lived life day to day with no fear. He met Olga Santos in 1969 in Ontario, OR, where they began to build a life together. Together they raised five children and were migrant workers. Snake was loved by everyone he met; not to mention he helped everyone he came into contact with. Through the years he gained many children apart from his own. He enjoyed the company of many of his friends.
Eutimio is survived by his sisters, Virginia Garcia (Arnulfo), Alma Jasso (Roberto), and his youngest brother, Julio Marines (Ericema); his wife and caregiver of many years, Olga Santos; his children, Maria Isabel Marines (Jesse), Maria Teresa Marines (Anthony), Juan Jose Marines (Michelle), Monica Marines, and Olivia Marines (Humberto); 17 grandchildren, Enrique Alfaro III (Kayla), Priscilla Alfaro, Victoria Alfaro, Yvette, Kendra Kelsie Ereq, Qiana, Marcus, Alexandria, Jeremiah, Michael, Jamilah, Antonio, Cristeon, Serena, and Diego; 12 great grandchildren, Julianna, Aubrianna, Dezmond, Avianna, Amiah, Aliana, Jaydence, Avery, Roque, Emonie, Javi, and Ariana; many nieces and nephews as well as sister and brother in-laws in Caldwell, ID and Texas. Every single one of them loved so much. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Luisa; his siblings, Ramon, Norma, Rebecca, Stephanie, Antonio, Juan Manuel, Rosa
Maria, Juan Jose, and Benjamin.
Snake has touched many people’s hearts especially those of his family. A great man has left our lives but we will continue to cherish his memories.
Dad, wherever you are, remember to stop in and say hi. We love you.
