Eunice Kitchen Britt, 95, of Wakefield, Va died Friday, January 19, 2024. Born in Southampton County on January 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Maggie Rawlings Kitchen. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Samuel Lee Britt, Sr.; brother, William Kitchen; sister, Jackie Sullivan; and son in law, Terry Mason.Eunice was a longtime member of Wakefield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and treasured the time spent with her children. Eunice was the best mother anyone could ask for and always put her family first.She is survived by her son, Samuel Lee Britt, Jr. (Doris); daughters, Cindi Britt Mason and Sandra Britt Vasser; sister, Huntus Duke (Lemuel); grandchildren, Sammy Britt III (Lindsay), Christopher T. Mason (Nina), Michelle Mason, and April M. Stephens (Jacob); great grandchildren, Terry and Candice Mason, Stormi and Taylor Stephens, Kennedy and Chase Britt.
