Eunice (Carini) Akerblom, age 71 of Kingston, passed away on April 23, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. She was the beloved mother of Richard Ellard and his significant other Melissa McLaughlin of New Jersey. She was the loving grandmother of Elizabeth McLaughlin of New Jersey. She was the cherished sister of Susan Brissette and her husband Bill of Plymouth. She was the treasured aunt of Bill Brissette and his significant other Lila Yomtoob of California and Tricia Flaherty and her husband Michael of Plymouth. She leaves her great niece and nephew, Grace and Michael Flaherty of Plymouth, whom she shared a special bond with.Eunice was born on July 22, 1947 in Weymouth to Richard and Eunice (Burrill) Carini. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Regis College and was a Media Specialist at Scotch Plain-Fanwood High School in New Jersey. Eunice loved to read, shop and spend time on the beauti-ful sand beaches in Yarmouth. She enjoyed attending book club, playing Bridge and Mahjong. She was an avid Patriots fan. Eunice had many hobbies and interests but, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a great cook and enjoyed entertaining, always ready for a party. She will be dearly missed by those she loved.
