DURHAM Mrs. Eula Mae Harrell Poole, 85, a former resident of Durham, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. at the Pittsboro Christian . Poole was born in Halifax County, the daughter of the late Jesse James Harrell and Selma Coker Harrell. She retired from Guaranty State Bank as a Teller. She attended Grove Park Chapel. She loved baking cakes, sewing and traveling. She was preceded in death by her brother, Aubrey M. is survived by her son, James Poole and wife, Mary Ann of Durham; one daughter, Cynthia Yerby of Bahama; brothers, Richard Harrell of Graham and Bobby Harrell of Burlington; one sister, Sylvia Harrell of Burlington and a granddaughter, Leigh Ann Blake of Durham.
