Rev. Eugene Ware Sr. was born in Bessemer, Alabama on November 14, 1946. After several years of declining health Eugene died peacefully on July 2, 2022 at the age of 75 with his significant other Jenice Murray and daughter Vanessa B. Ware by his side.

Being the middle child, Eugene didn’t have the opportunity for much education. He helped out by doing any odd jobs he could find. At the age of 12, Eugene left home in search of a better life for himself. Some time in the 70s,  Eugene found himself in Chicago, Illinois. He landed a job driving taxis, not knowing one day he would pick up his future wife. Eugene met Velma Lee Rose, fell in love and got married. Eugene felt that he was meant for more than just being a taxi driver. Once he stopped doubting himself, Eugene accepted what God wanted him to do.

On February 10,1980, Eugene Ware became Reverend Eugene Ware. He knew his mission was to speak the word of God. He started in Illinois at Mt.

In 1985, Eugene moved his family from Chicago, Illinois to Saginaw, Michigan, where he joined a gospel group named: “The Gospel Soul Savers”. Eugene received his second ordination certificate in 1985 so he could continue spreading the word of God. Besides preaching and singing, Rev. Ware also was a school bus driver for Buena Vista School District and a Charter bus driver.

In 2006, Rev. Ware moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to start a new life for himself where he continued to drive charter buses and a dump truck. Even to his final days here on earth he told testimonies to whoever would listen to him.

In his spare time, Eugene loved to go fishing, watching western tv, and the family feud show.

Rev. Eugene Ware Sr. was preceded in death by his parents.
