Gene truly loved his hometown and the people of it. He owned and operated Park Luncheonette, now known as Patti’s Place, for 24 years while raising his family.
He enjoyed his family and friends, golf, playing the organ, and watching his grandchildren participate in their activities. He was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed by so many.
He is survived by two sons, Dennis McMahon and his wife Rose and Robert McMahon and his wife Sue; his daughter-in-law, Maureen E. (Roberts) McMahon; his son-in-law, Richard Belonick; his grandchildren, Amy, Matt, Owen, Luke, Kelly, Jack, Michael, Sean, and Molly; six great grandchildren; his “Honorary” son, William Ryan, and one niece, Maureen Mcallister.
