Eugene H. Christensen, 78, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Eugene Harvey Christensen was born December 27, 1927 in Avoca, Iowa, the son of Harvey and Anne (Schneider) Christensen.
He graduated from the Atlantic High School, Atlantic, Iowa, in 1945.
On February 23, 1946, Gene married Inez Mae Irish in Atlantic, Iowa. She passed away on October 31, 1993.
He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.
Gene worked for New King Electric in Atlantic and when the former owner, Chris Fuhlendorf retired, Gene purchased the business and renamed it Gene’s New King Electric. He retired in 1989.
