Gene was a 1964 graduate of Fitch High School in Austintown, Ohio and later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Youngstown State University. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann (Menster) Boros on September 28, 1974 in Canfield, Ohio and she survives. Mr. Boros had worked for two different railroads prior to their closing and eventually served as the Manager of purchasing and transportation for the Ball Corporation now known as Ardagh Group for over 35 years prior to his retirement. Besides his wife of 43 years, Mary Ann, he is survived by two daughters, Tracy Snell (husband-Kyle) and Christine Williams (husband-Torre), both of Noblesville; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Sarah Snell; two brothers, Kenny Boros, Sr., Kelly Island, Ohio and Ray Boros, Tucson, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Larry Boros in 2014, one sister-in-law, Susan Boros in 2009 and one nephew, Kenny Boros, Jr. in 2016.
