Eufronio Pongos of New Milford passed away peacefully May 26, 2016 at the age of 84. Born in Ormoc City, Phillipines he later moved to Cebu City where he met and married Federica Sentillas. Eufronio was a supervisor with a furniture manufacturing company before leaving Cebu City to move to the United States.
He was survived by his beloved wife Federica, his loving children; Bernadeth Pongos-Silva and her husband Lutgardo, Camilo Pongos, and Dalme Pongos-Legitimas and her husband Apolinar. Eufronio leaves behind his sisters Carmen Zapanta and Elisa Cuyacot. He was the cherished grandfather of Monnavi Silva, Eufie Andrews Legitimas and Ciello Andrei Legitimas.
