Details: Ethel H. Wood, 87, died May 1, 2010 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. She was born on August 2, 1922, in Hume, Va. to the late Stanley B. and Carrie Houghton. She resided in Glen Burnie until 18 years ago when she moved to Pasadena. In the 60’s and 70’s she was an underwriter for the Travelers Insurance Company in Baltimore. A member of the Eastern Star in Baltimore. She attended Community United Methodist Church, and enjoyed doing crafts at the Pascal Center, and watching the Orioles and Ravens play. She was a very devoted and loved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Stephen R. Woods Sr. and a sister Reta Bailey. She is survived by a son Stephen R. Wood Jr. of Pasadena, 3 grandchildren Kevin Wood, & Carrie Musil both of Pennsylvania, and Laura Beth Wood of Pasadena, 2 great grandchildren Zoe M. Musil and Brayden Wood.
