Ethel Fishback, 94 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, August 14, 2021. She was born in the Bronx, New York the daughter of Harry and Clara Butts Weinberg. She moved to Kissimmee thirty five years ago from Hollywood, Florida. She was a Christian by faith, but her passions in life were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ethel was the retired owner of a child care center (Children’s Castle of Kissimmee). She liked to crochet and knit for everybody.
Ethel is survived by her five daughters: Diane Palant and her husband Barry of Kissimmee, Florida, June Horton and her husband Perry of Kissimmee, Florida, Susan Hamann of Kissimmee, Florida, Bonnie Apy and her husband John of Kissimmee, Florida, and Carol Marquis of Kissimmee, Florida; her brother: Daniel Weinberg and his wife Sandra of Spring Hill, Florida; her sister: Elaine Balkin of Buffalo, New York; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren. Ethel was preceded in death by her loving husband Elmer Fishback, her son: George Fishback, her sons-in-law: Ralph Hamann and Jeff Marquis; and her sister: Rae Curtis.
