Ethel E. Haab, 87, of North Sundown Road in South Bend, IN, passed away at 5:30am Thursday, June 2, 2005 in her residence.
She was born on August 6, 1917 to the late Charles Amasa and Daisy Lucinda (Black) Borton in Mentone, IN, and has lived in South Bend since 1941, coming from Milford, IN. Along with her parents, one brother, Royal Borton also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Haab had worked at Roth Plating in South Bend for 20 years.
On January 11, 1936, as Ethel E. Borton, she married John William Haab in Warsaw, IN. He died on November 20, 1991.
She is survived by one daughter, Cinda L. (John) Arnt of South Bend, IN; two sons, Ted L. Haab of South Bend, IN; Thomas L. (Patricia) Haab of South Bend, IN; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Haab was a 1935 graduate of Ligoneer High School in Ligoneer, IN.
