Ethel Ann Baymiller, 102, died October 3, 2007 at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman, Michigan.
Ethel was born April 11, 1905 to Edgar L and Sarah (Raby) Swecker in Texas County, Missouri. She graduated High School in Mountain Grove, Missouri and attended Business College in Lawrence, Kansas. On December 24, 1927 she married Oliver S. “Pat” Baymiller in Norwood, Missouri.
Ethel taught at the Oak Ridge School and later moved with her husband to West Plains, Missouri where they operated an automobile repair business, and later owned an automobile dealership. After retirement, she and Pat raised cattle and she enjoyed working in her flower gardens. Ethel was a member of the West Plains Church of God. She volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader and was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Patty Lois (Charles) Stein; grandson, Charles M. (Clara) Stein; great grandchildren, Joe, Mike, John and Ingrid; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pat, in 1993, brothers, Raymond, Howard, and Ralph, sisters, Mayme, Myrtle, Neva, Mae and Opel, and an infant grandson, Vincent Joseph Stein.
