Esther E. Grove, 102 of Stephenson Nursing Center died Saturday August 9, 2008 at the Nursing Center. Born January 1, 1906 in Loran she was the daughter of Louis and Dorothea (Sager) Kuhlemeyer. She and Charles D.
Grove were married January 12, 1927 at Dixon, Charles preceded her in death March 18, 1966. She worked with her husband for many years on the family farm. A member of Zion Church C.C.C.C. she was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society and the Stephenson County Farm Bureau.
She is survived by one daughter Mary (Kenneth) Traum of Freeport; one brother Louis Kuhlemeyer Jr. of Lena; one sister Doris Stearns of Rock City and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters Helen Terhark, Eldora Auman, Ruth Canfield; two brothers Henry and his infant twin at birth.
