Esther Malone was born June 15, 1929 in New Haven, Connecticut. She was a very sweet and wonderful woman. The love that she radiated would light up even the darkest rooms. She was always and forever cooking and baking the best cookies and treats, and was able to sweeten up three generations of children in the process. We were always so lucky to be able to go to Grams house when we were little. And as we grew up and made friends she would greet them with the very same smile he greeted us with.
Being a lady born in the great depression she was no stranger to work. She pursued a career in retail management and volunteered at her local grange. With about a fourty years tenure as a volunteer at the grange she helped raise countless funds for many organizations in the community.
Esther is survived by a son Andy and a daughter Nancy and their respected families. She is also joined by a beloved daughter Carolyn and survived by her family as well. Esther was a strong woman who endured through everything, and in her final moments her faithful daughter never left her side. She always said “Better days are coming”, but the days when she was still here the better days. You will forever be loved and missed by your family and friends.
