Estel G. Hunt, 88, Anderson, died July 19, 2011, at Community Hospital. He was born March 21, 1923, in Jay County, Indiana, and resided in Anderson.
He lived most of his adult life in Anderson and served his country in the United States Air Force. Estel retired from Delco Remy where he was a toolmaker. He was a member of East Lynn Disciples of Christ Christian Church and was a Mason at Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #77 F. & A.M.
He is survived by his wife; Annabelle Hunt. Daughter; Carol Clancy husband, Jerry, and daughter-in-law; Velma Hunt. Step-children; Kathleen Myer husband, David, Dan E. Dickey wife, Pat, and Janice Dickey. Grandchildren; Catherine Kavanaugh husband, Mark, Anne Klein husband, Josh, Chad Rhodes, Jeneal Hunt, Abby Davis, Amanda Hunt, and Julie Tretter. 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; Anna Mae Hunt. Daughter; Nancy Hunt Davis and son; John Hunt.
